Tobacco Use and Attitudes among Savannah's College Level Students, 2005

This project draws on survey data from students at Armstrong Atlantic State Univeristy, Savannah College of Art and Design, and Savannah State University regarding their tobacco use, attitudes, and interest in cessation programs. Approximately 20 percent of the students surveyed identify themselves as smokers. A key finding is that the number of close friends who smoke is an important determinant of whether an individual themself is a smoker.
